Thanks to your generous
support, Neighbours has had a tremendous twelve
months since our 1st annual Tree of Thanks launched
last November.
It’s been a year filled with
new accomplishments, opportunities, and relationships.
This coming year we’re planning to do even more,
and hope that you’ll be supporting us again.
Last year’s Tree of Thanks was
the first of its kind for Neighbours, and
was a success on all counts, including that it was
a lot of fun! But, most importantly, Neighbours’ Tree
of Thanks also:
- Raised nearly
$10,000 that has
helped Neighbours provide
more reliable transportation and assistive devices
to the people we work for, improving their quality
of life and level of independence.
- Donated a
gorgeous 12' white fir received as a gift
from Miklos
Tree Service of Somerset,
NJ to the NJ
Audubon Society's Plainsboro Preserve last
April 2007. It stands proudly commemorating the principles
of self-determination, community, and friendship
which guides our work at Neighbours.
