In
October of 2003, Neighbours Inc. organized our first Institute
on Community Living. More than 80 people from
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Iowa, Minnesota,
and Delaware gathered in King of Prussia, PA, to explore
the possibilities of community living.
People
who are advocating for themselves, parents, friends,
and workers from agencies that support people with
disabilities, gathered to talk about what is working,
what is not, and what is still possible.
