The Bucks County Association for Independent Support Brokers

Who are We?

The Bucks County Association for Independent Support Brokers is a subsidiary of Neighbours Inc.

In the effort of supporting the values of Self Determination, the Bucks County Office of Mental Retardation contracted with Neighbours Inc. to create the Association.

Our purpose is to maintain a pool of "freelance" Support Brokers who are available to help people with disabilities attain the life they want.

Brokers do not work for an agency; they work for the person who hires them.

The Association believes in the power of the individual and everyone's right to develop a life that they find meaningful. We also provide training, mentoring and ongoing support to the Brokers who are part of our Association.
